Mirroring the success of not just Furious 7 at the box office, but the addition of Fast & Furious: Supercharged at Universal Studios Hollywood, the minds behind the Orlando Universal Studios park have announced that a version of the high octane attraction will be making it’s way to central Florida.

But to make room for this new supercharged car ride something, or things need to go. So get ready to say goodbye to Disaster! A Motion Picture Ride… Starring YOU and Beetlejuice’s Graveyard Revue…

With the seventh installment of The Fast & The Furious franchise currently sitting at the fourth highest grossing motion picture of all time, it makes sense that Universal would try to capitalize on it’s success on both coasts. But to do so they need space, namely the area between the attraction/movie shoot Disaster and the Beetlejuice live show.

While Disaster comes of a little dated thanks to Christopher Walken in all his scene chewing/cue card reading glory, it is an all around fun attraction to ride/watch, due to the interactive nature of the event. And I can’t pick on Christopher Walken, he delivers exactly what you want to see with him playing the Michael Bay-esque Director, Frank Kincaid.

The Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue is something I haven’t had the luxury to see yet, so I can’t speak to it’s pros and cons, but with the Halloween season coming up this is something that will be a must do for me this October. But based off of what I’ve seen, this (as well as Disaster!) are things I’m ok with experiencing maybe only once. Based off of Universal’s description of Supercharged delivering and immersive, underground racing experience makes me think this may be an attraction similar to Test Track or possibly even Transformers or Spider-Man.

Time will tell, as Disaster! closes on September 8th (the same day as Islands Of Adventures The Incredible Hulk) and Beetlejuice joins the afterlife sometime after Halloween Horror Nights wraps up.
