For the 21st year Disney is welcoming guests to Epcot with their annuial International Food And Wine Fest. In addition to the ever present countries around World Showcase, Epcot brings 30 different kiosks to the park bringing new drinks and food from further around the world to sample.
While many of the outdoor kitchens and their offerings are carryovers from previous years (you can see our review of 2015’s dishes HERE) this year sees two new kiosks entering the festival with The Chocolate Studio, a cocoa lovers dream offering desserts, and Islands Of The Caribbean, bringing a Jamaican zing with tropic flavors.
In addition to the food the festival also will hold various seminars most weekends over the course of the two month run at the Festival Center in Future World near Mission: Space. If sitting in a room listening to top celebrity chefs speak isn’t your thing there is also the popular Eat To The Beat concert series which sees top musical acts from the 80’s and 90’s performing free concerts. Acts appearing this year include Sugar Ray, Hanson, Blues Traveller and Fuel (more info about bands and dates they are appearing can be found at the official Walt Disney World site HERE).
Also returning is the Ratatoullie themed “Remy’s Hide ‘n’ Squeak” scavenger hunt which will send visitors around World Showcase gathering ingerdients for the LIttle Chef, rewarding them with a special limited edition Trading Pin, and don’t forget the special limited edition merchandise (yes I’ll be keeping this years special Vinylmation).
So what’s got you excited for this years Food And WIne Fest? Let us know in the comments, and look forward to our reviews of the various kitchens over the coming weeks!
